Simply send an e-mail message to listserv@lists.afs.org. The subject can be blank or anything. In the message itself type:

subscribe alumni

There should be no other text in the message.

Once Subscribed: After you have been accepted to join the list, you will receive a confirmation letter informing you that you
have subscribed to the AFS Alumni Mail List and some information about its use. You are then free to join in the ongoing
discussions or, better yet, to initiate one yourself !

To Unsubscribe:

If you ever want to unsubscribe, simply send an e-mail message to listserv@lists.afs.org. The subject can be blank or anything. In the text of your message type:

signoff alumni

Using the AFS Alumni Mail List:

Once you have received a confirmation that you are a part of the AFS Alumni Mail List,
you may then begin to send postings to the list at: alumni@lists.afs.org . Please keep in mind that your message will be sent to
everyone else on the list too.
